Has set forth specific requirements for all On-line Asbestos Refreshers.

Failure to comply with these requirements can result in a student not receiving credit for the course hours taken and applying for a renewal certification until a successful course completion is documented

SYSTEM

 REQUIREMENTS

  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)

  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in, USB plug-in, or wireless Bluetooth

  • A webcam or HD webcam - built-in, USB plug-in, or an HD cam or HD camcorder with a video-capture card

NO MAKE UP

Asbestos Refresher courses and any missed sections will not be allowed to be made-up. 

Make sure you can attend un-interrupted for the entirety of the required course hours

ACTIVE VISUAL

PRESENCE

Students must be in view of their video capture devices for the duration of the course. Unscheduled breaks or stepping away from the camera for lengthy times will result in removal from the zoom class

RECORDKEEPING

Cornerstone Training Institute is required to record all Asbestos Refresher Classes and keep these recordings archived for the Department of Health's auditing  purposes

Ensure that you are in a quiet area with minimal distractions and is conducive to active learning and participation

KEEP IT CLEAN

Maintain proper online etiquette while in class, refrain from vulgar language, inappropriate humor, noisy distractions from an open mic, etc,. Any attempts to screen capture, record or photograph any course content may result in removal from session
